Elemental Shaman WW expansion rework ideas

Okay blizzard said to give feedback and here is mine:

  1. REDESIGN THE ASCENDENCE MODEL and make it more powerful. Give a straight damage buff. 2 minutes cooldown.
  2. Create a Storm Ascendent for Elemental. This can be a two choice node placed better in the tree for a nature or fire focused shaman. Lighting bolt could become a more powerful spell called “Thunder Blast” and Chain Lighting could become “Lightning Storm”.
  3. Take Icefury out of the talent tree and make it baseline… Allowing both flux melting and electrified shocks for hybrid builds.
  4. Make Ancestors a spell cooldown ability and have them attack on their own, for the sake of stun locks, temporary damage downtime, etc. Ancestors should represent all four elements… Don’t let the mages and warlocks run away with their phoenix and demons, leaving shamans in the dirt.
  5. My second point may contradict this a little with a two choice node but stop forcing us to be a one way class… Cough, cough primordial wave.

just getting any design progress or communication at all, is the real trick, i assume you’re watching the WW alpha notes, and noticing that Shaman dev is just full silent.

I have more so been messing around with the talent tree and hero talents… I’ve always played shaman and have been mostly frustrated with forced builds and being limited only to flame ascendance… ascendance feels underwhelming and we hardly ever talent into it. They could be good but shamans need a ret paladin style rework.
