Can anyone give me a good creator to check out to learn elemental? I dont trust icy veins or wowhead as they’re usually wrong
I have a pvp background, m+ is pretty new to me and elemental so far is a little overwhelming and feels different since the primordial wave i remember
icy veins and wowhead are typically accurate.

Farseer is unplayable, you are just trolling if you play it.
Earthquake is a garbage ability and you are completely dependent on your tank to keep mobs in it.
The spec has tons of RNG so you can play well and RNGesus can still say FU.
Elemental blast has a 24% chance to proc Tempest.
Earthquake as a 33% chance to proc Tempest.
Tab target when using earthquake to spread lightning rod and pray you get some refunds and tempest procs.
One of the talents give you haste when you cast a spender. If you are at the end of a pack you are better off saving strombringer and malestrom for the next pack otherwise it takes forever to get ramped back up.
You are almost better off holding every other Stormkeeper to use with ascendence.
I am personally gearing a destro lock because Tempest makes me not want to play the game.

I started midnight on feral and am trying something else I am loving it so far just since i actually have single target damage, but the earthquake thing can be rough.
Yea, not an expert just things I found keep my overall numbers up.
The rage as your stacks of earthquake just sit there as the tank neatly moves everything about an inch outside of all your damage.
Bond is a good choice. There is a new content creator this season named Mac (https://www.youtube.com/@Macmn) that makes pretty good end-game Ele rotation guides in a beginner-friendly format regarding M+ and raid optimization. Mac’s content will help understand stuff in chunks, but Bond will be the one to help pull it together for higher tech.
I will also say that the information they provide is comparable to that on Wowhead and Icy Vein. But I always prefer using videos to learn and saving using Wowhead/Icy Veins for quick reference.
Im coming back to this because im now almost 280 with a bunch of bis pieces, and holy f there are some glaring issues with the way ele plays in m+ and they’re just unavoidable, you were right. Having tanks spam chain pulling is just nuking my overall.
I still love certain parts of it, damage on priority mobs and boss fights feel great, but i cant imagine trying to actually push on this spec, especially once I get to the point where I need defensives.
At this point i will probably just do my weekly stuff and push on something else
Farseer is absolutely playable up to 15ish. You’re not gonna brick anyone’s key by just playing Farseer. Having said that, it’s probably “bugged” as our apex talents doesn’t work with ancestors. But if you’re not pushing, play whatever you like, all specs are viable up to 15s. Please don’t gate keep/meta slave people.
One tip I can impart, don’t try too hard spreading Lightning Rod with Tempest. Earthquake will do that for you naturally. Prio your damage, start the pull with an ele blast and spam away.
