None anywhere have they being removed ? Checked with WH and every where they say there were none
AFAIK it still drops from trash in Molten Core.

Here’s a list of what drops them. They are also usually very cheap on the AH.

This. The comments on Wowhead are old because this has been around forever. Molen Core can be easily done on any max level character. You usually get a lot of mats per run and it won’t take long to run alts through it. Kill and loot EVERYTHING.
You will also get transmogs while you are at it

I can confirm they still drop off Earth Elementals in Badlands as of 5ish hours ago, hotly contested and low drop rate however.
High demand because of Elemental Sharpening Stones and Greater Nature Prot Pots.
