Elemental blast still hitting 150k in arena straight out the gate with no real set up in full vers gear.
I though blizzard said they fixed this? please readdress this

When people complain about this please remember to state what spec. I’m assuming this is a maelstrom enhance instant cast Ele. Blast?
Almost definitely. -And for sure needs addressing.
I assume this happened 0.2 seconds before you killed the enhance due to their zero defensive utility, yes?

Ngl I’ll take a 1 shot ele blast over every spec having lasso. Most irritating ability in the game

Hold up you actually are infuriated by lasso over kidney shot?
6 sec instant to a 5 sec channel one is 20 second cd and gives party members increased damage where the other is 45 second cd and can be stopped by many different ways.

Lasso is so far from being an issue it’s not even funny
Just kick, or knock, or stun, or cc
Also, I’d love to see how much damage the shaman does during lasso compared to warrior during bolt, feral during maim, rogue during kidney, even ret during hoj probably does more

Yea I hate lasso but I need a stun. It’s prob the worst stun in the game because you have to channel.
i honestly forget to press elemental half the time. i’m to busy trying to support everyone on my team with utility like off heals, and hex, and grounding, and other garbage that an enh has to do to be good. all while having good positioning cause i can die at the flick of a finger.
It’s a better version of MC but it’s only better because it does slight damage and stuns.
But that’s it lol
i honestly think that if youre an enh that relies on a 150k elemental blast you’re not going to be a very good shaman. this class has had enough nerfs leave us alone please.

i honestly dont press it enough. i have so many other globals i have to press and i feel constantly behind.
i’m not sure if you’ve messed around with enh but the rotation is off. like it heavily relies on procs like malestrom and when you’re maelstrom starved it sucks because you cant heal then you can’t spend maelstrom on ele blast.
like i’m not against nerfing elemental blast at all because its hard to even use it at times.
i’m also a utility focused player so i dont think in terms of how can i one shot this guy because its never reliable.
Like I get you are being a team player but if you had a stronger healer you could go use the toxic one shots over and over again.
It still needs more tuning

yeah im honestly not against it. i had another enh shaman do it on me a few days ago (i haven’t really played much arena since its just rogues in skirms) and it got me down to 5% hp from like 70% so that is pretty toxic.
but i hope they dont nerf everything else to the ground. cause the game is already pretty unplayable.
I’d take alter time or elemental block/shield
Alas peasant shamans don’t have the knowledge to bend the fabrics of space and time. It requires a PhD in quantum physics.

Yea no phd here and I agree mage is the harder class to master.
Idk it takes a pretty strong fortitude to eat as much peyote as shamans do to “see” the ghosts of their ancestors and have full on conversations and still go battle some stuff just fine. And talk to the elements lool

Tho bein srs I think warlock players are the real stoners of WoW. Don’t think I ever met a warlock who wasn’t blazed out of his mind in arena or other forms of pvp. Its always the undead locks too
