So we are basically reduced to casting flameshock and hopping around until a 5% proc or when we are free and open to cast. Druids get 70% spell pushback resistance w/ eclipse, Mages have talents and if frost Ice Barrier, Warlocks talents, Priest talents and Power Word: Shield. Nothing for shaman for spell pushback resistance besides a horrid Earthshield that last all but 4.5 seconds with its 3 charges, if something is on you w/ only 30% resistance that requires you to lose Way of Earth for pvp or Shamanistic Rage. Do they even play the game?

Shamans have eye of the storm, which grants 100% spell pushback when it procs.
Keywords “when it procs.” In pve questing it rarely ever procs. And in PvP it is not working as intended.
Make Earth Shield a glove rune.
And obviously fix it so it scales at all.
Lava burst is laughably useless against warlocks, preists, and paladins who know how to play the game.
A totem isn’t going to heal or do any significant damage. Shocks share the same cooldown and flame shock is high priority dispel.
We have 1 viable spec. The others are all bottom of the barrel.
That’s rather generous. Hopefully Aggrend’s team can address that, so we have no viable specs as their intent.
Maybe I’ve been playing this wrong, but perhaps Flame Shock → Lava Burst is not something I should rely on in PvP?
20 yard range. Can be dispelled. Uses your shock CD, 2 second hard cast at short range after a forced GCD. No pushback prevention.
If you get it to work, the person you’re attacking is bad.
Better off as a belt or boot rune. Lava Burst and water shield on gloves already. Or just make it viable and it can be an offset like the glyph for lesser healing wave and increases lesser healing wave 20% when actively on target. And 6 charges like it is untalented.
Thing is, I really like decoy totem BoF effect / auto block, and being able to throw a searing totem + earth bind totem at someone and poping fire nova for a 35 yard grenade is fantastic in group pvp where instant long range is king.
I rather just use the glove slot for a defensive skill so I can continue to cast at long range or survive a stun combo.
We have 3 viable specs. Tank enhance, elemental dps, resto healer. Just because enhance dps is doo doo doesn’t mean you get to hate on the tanks and healers.
I’ve told people about this before, and you guys are so stupid. The effect works when you are criticially struck with melee or ranged attacks. If you are using way of earth you have a reduced chance to be crit. Way of earth is interfering with your talent.
We are stronger within 20 yards of our opponent thanks to shocks. But we have 36 yard range lightning bolt and chain lightning.
I don’t assume you’re doing many BGs or STV. You’ll 90% of the time have a melee on you or a pet if you can survive the 2/3 global from a shadow priest lol.
hoping they fix the bugged earth shield in the balance patch theyve hinted at coming next week. If earth shield wasnt bugged it would be fine. earth shield was pretty good in pvp in p1 its just stuck at lvl 1
