In the new development notes Elemental Shamans will be receiving a new talent.
Herald of the Storms – Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning casts to reduce the cooldown of Stormkeeper by 2 seconds. Choice node against Fury of the Storms.
Ultimately I feel this talent would fit perfectly where Rolling Thunder is on the Stormbringer Hero tree. Rolling Thunder for me feels awkward as it is this hidden timer, without the use of Add-ons, that isn’t very exciting. I believe thematically Herald of the Storms is a much more rewarding and predictable talent which performs a similar function as Rolling Thunder.
Also, I would like to say I personally feel the changes coming so far in the 11.0.5 Patch are a net positive for the spec. Plan on writing up my full thoughts later but I am a fan although still some changes I am hopeful to see.
