Ele Shaman professions?

Hi all,
I recently picked up WoW in the midst of working from home. I had played many years ago (short after release), but did not have the time for it. Now that I’m back into it, I had a professions question.

I made a few characters and played until level 20ish to see which style I liked the most. I’ve really been enjoying the elemental shaman, so I wanted to know which professions are best suited for this class.

I know that “best” is a subjective term, so to preface this, I picked up mining/herbalism for the time being for some XP while leveling, as well as for some lucrative $ gains on the AH.

I wanted to know which Ele Shaman professions that you recommend in terms of not only gold, but for later game fun as far as improved gear, etc. Thanks!

Herb / Alchemy is always good .

well normally you would get alchemy ,but you can pretty much stick with your gathering and sell… Professions are not the same as when the game came out,

i’m Jeweller… and it’s close to useless apart for the gems - who are ridiculously cheap at the AH.
The ONLY craft worth it (and it’s a pity) is alchemist.

and that’s just my personal opinion, usual disclaimers attached to this statement…

Ya but atleast all your flasks last 2 times . That itself makes Alch worth it .
