I boosted a shaman and plan on going ele/resto. I am having issues with farming though as elemental. I run out of mana so fast. Is taht just how the elemental is or does it get better with better gear or later in wotlk?

It’s a lot better at higher gear levels and in a raid with all the raid buffs flying around.

Better at high level with gear that isn’t trash communal but shaman really aren’t great for farming
boosted gear is absolutely terrible

get actual level 70 gear

I havent played shaman in a lomg time. Make sure u r using the shield that returns mana and not the electric one that does damage.
I dont remember what its called. Its the little water thing that circles around and around your waste. I think there is a glyph for this also.
Storm on CD, water shield, mana totem and spec into unrelenting storm. They can be alittle thirsty but you’ll get used to it.
1-62 is pretty rough as elemental but as soon as you get water shield (lvl 62) it should be smooth sailing. With water shield and mana spring totem I don’t think I ever drank while leveling.
