I saw that other thread about either Blizzard or Eiya herself stepping back and her not casting anymore due to all the hate.
She’s a good caster, she speaks clearly and is a really good fit for the casting table.
I’m kinda sad that the one newbie caster entering the scene is being bullied to not cast anymore.

I mean she might not be the most technically sound caster compared to the other guys, but she’s def. entertaining and adds some good commentary.
She’s a woman in a space dominated by men.
A space (computer games / mmos) that’s also heavily infested with incels among those men.
i think people are more annoyed about someone that doesnt really play the game is casting it at its highest level than being mad at said persons gender
You have to admit though that gender plays a part in this, i’ve seen a lot of sexist comments about her.

Nope it’s mainly because she’s a woman. She gets scrutinized a lot more and any mistake she makes is amplified. As for the not playing the game comment that’s silly because no says that about any other sport where broadcasters never played the game at a high level.
Dude every caster gets criticized, she is just that much worse at following plays and understanding what’s going on compared with supatease and co. How is that even a debate ?
In fact it’s probably the opposite, people are more lenient toward her cause no ones like bashing on an innocent pretty girl.
Personally, I think she does fine. I don’t have any particular issue with her. However, I do understand the complaints that you have an outsider commenting on an activity that they clearly don’t participate in.

This is the highest form of WOW pvp…a couple of weeks ago she went on and on about the healers “resource” getting low…correct, she said resource and not mana multiple times…
She’s not good enough to be a play by play analyst, period. She’s fine at her role though.
lol mana is a resource. If that is your big complaint then I don’t know what to tell you 
I don’t see threads created every week for the other casters to criticize them and go over their mistakes.
I don’t think that she understands the game, every time I hear her comment on the game, it seems like she doesn’t understand whats going on, it’s just annoying, not that I’m complaining tho, I don’t really care, I just hit the mute button.
Isn’t there any other girl out there that actually understands the game and can host it? it doesn’t matter the gender in the end, just hire someone that knows what she/he is talking about.
