No - cant use on Druid and I tend to use the water walking one for mounts, since I hardly ever get dazed.
Didn’t you say this wasn’t a mount issue though? It was a combat one?
Also…
I don’t know about the brand new one but you still needed poke dolls for guaranteed escape in sword/shield… or a leader with an escape ability. Otherwise escape is still rng
Removing dazing doesn’t take away anything from the game imo. Just like keeping it isn’t bringing me this rpg immersion. It’s a whatever mechanic from the past so I wouldn’t be upset to see it go.
Pretty much my thoughts. It wasn’t that bad when the world was still big with mobs spread out.
Now with the hyper packed zone meta it needs to go. Outdated concept. Remember the tip if you want to avoid mobs to walk on the road? At some point that was a rule they followed, but no longer. If that goes, so should daze.
I’m sorry to say this but i did specify that its not about mount equipment and I’m sorry to sound rude but you parrot just about half of the forum when dazing comes up. Dazing can happen off of your mount and it slows you.
If I meant this for the mount I’d talk about dismounting but i didn’t. Please take the time to read in the future instead of just squawking the same comment almost everyone does.
I feel like I’m playing a different game than most of you. I’ve run my Shammy and Monk through Zereth Mortis now and have yet to be dazed off my mount (barding) or dazed while fighting (don’t turn your back to the mobs).
I’d love to see a video of someone fighting mobs and getting dazed. The only way that happens if you turn your back to the mobs and why would you ever do that?
Pretty much the same. Cant ride without getting knocked off mount. if Im druid forming it, I get molasses feet from all sorts of crap, lol.
Its ok when some stuff does it. Its not ok when everything, including clouds of insects to it, lol
How about acquire a higher education so you could read better because clearly you missed the problem being a player problem not a mount problem. But you ignorantly keep squawking the same line.
Wastrel.
To see such an issue you would first have to open your eyes. Can you do that for us please?
Off the top of my head in the Maw alone, there are those casters which cast a stacking slow debuff with high damage DOT component, the casters with the 5 second root spell and explode component, the archers with the ranged slow, the Maldraxxi mobs with the combo charge and slow, the eyeballs with the high damage channeled DOT, etc, etc.
Definitely must apply that in TBCC or you get knocked off your mount.
It’s pretty instinctual as a PvPer to never give your back by jumping and using swift turns, and returning to face the run path again before landing; and rinse-repeat.
I agree that dazing is bad, but this line that you keep repeating is untrue. I can think of another MMO off the top of my head: SWTOR does this, too. If an enemy spots you on your mount, they do have the ability to dismount and slow you. I’m sure there are others that we haven’t played, that also do it.
I’m almost positive that they made it worse after they introduced the mount equipment to remove dazing. Even if OP’s problem isn’t about mounts. That’s my conspiracy theory, and I am sticking to it!
