Fear is a probably the most powerful form of cc in classic.
The fact that in AV a horde warrior or priest can run into a bunch of alliance and fear bomb completely changing the outcome of the battle where as alliance cannot because of will of the forsaken is broken.
I would be happy if fear was nerfed and they got rid of wotf. Maybe if wotf was changed to be the same as escape artist with a CC break but no immunity for 5 seconds. In this current state where one side has access to the best form of CC and the other doesnt is just plain unfair.
And if you are going to say paladins make up for it, then you havent had to deal with shamans (grounding totems, tremor totems, chain lightning). There is a reason a good elemental shaman is usually top of the charts in av and paladins are usually the bottom.
Horde are complaining about Bg Ques (and rightly so) so If we are serious about faction balance we need to look at what makes people choose one side over the other in most pvp servers.

Get rid of roots and slows.
What’s the point of using frost nova against a group of Gnomes when the can just EA out of it.

EA is only a one time CC break. a mage can immediately cast a rank 1 frostbolt after a gnome uses EA and the gnome is slowed again. Compare this to WOTF which is 5 seconds of immunity on a 2min cd.
also EA doesnt work against hunter slow traps. EA is not useful in large scale battles.

Ok so make WOTF the same as EA. 1 min CD with a break from CC but no 5 second immunity. Agree?

EA is a shorter cd, useful against more abilities…
Some classes also use pvp trinket to remove slows or fears while other classes can’t, guess you also want pvp trinkets to be the same for each class…
Sounds like a retail player mentality/mindset. BFA is waiting for you, every class has an interrupt, self heal, stun, movement increase etc. Perfect for people like you

The fear immunity is not even an issue, sac your silly blue blob pet and you can survive the 5secs and fear again. OR use that op instant fear death coil when they use WOTF on fear

PVP trinkets are on a 5 min CD, WOTF is on a 2 min cd. If you want to stop chain fears you can use both as a horde and by the time the 3rd fear comes in you will have a massive reduction in fear time because of DR

and your fear has no cooldown how about we put it on a 2min cooldown then we will talk about changing WOTF

Thats what I was saying in my First post (if you read it). I am happy if they nerf fear as long as they get rid of WOTF.
1 they are never gonna get rid a racial and 2 you gave no reason as to why its “broken” you just claim it is
