EIGHT! 8 weeks before LFR fully unlocks

I mean, I get that not being able to raid the same time each week (or off-hours) limits the regular groups you can get into, but LFR queue off-hours is absolutely horrible. It goes faster prime-time too, as do Normal PUGs.

In that sense I’m not sure that’s a plus in the LFR column. A Norm pug will summon you in before your queue pops and, by the time LFR wings are fully open, run just as quickly.

I always have infinitely more problem in normal than I do raid finder. Maybe I just have bad luck, but every single normal time that I have joined and wipes on the first couple of bosses and then everybody leaves and the group falls apart. Not to mention that even getting in the group takes twice as long as a raid finder

Gotta keep that sub money rolling in. Don’t want everyone to quit after downing Sylvanas in LFR in 3 weeks.

Week 2 or 3 of the following tier sure. If anything it opens way to quickly.

You have access to just go into normal and do it there.

Ah, reminds me of them releasing ICC normal over 2 months, and then heroic after that.

Also LFR has been like this for ages.

They could, or they could give incentive for players to step out of their comfort zones and do normal and above.

LMAO so true.

:surfing_woman: :surfing_man:

LFR isn’t tutorial mode, though. It’s not supposed to teach you the fights. It can’t - most of the mechanics aren’t even there. That’s what Normal & Heroic are for.

Blizzard staff have called it Story Mode. That’s what it’s for - the people who want to see the raid story but don’t want to raid.

Especially when LFR is deemed trash by " real" players. So its not like it seeing worlds first here before other real raid levels would mean anything.

The delay to LFR’s releases isn’t there for the benefit of people who don’t do LFR. It’s there entirely for the benefit of people who DO run LFR.

Ah yes locking Story mode behind a time gate makes much more sense. You totally got me.

So would “Wow is the only game that time locks Story mode” make you happier? :upside_down_face:

Contrarians go BRRRRRR

How about “WoW is the only game where they let you finish the story no matter how little you try”?

How many tokens does Ion pay for a months worth of damage control on the forums?

All of the comfort in the world what’s still not create enough time to raid 3 hours a night 3 days a week.

There are many reasons why players do looking for raid as opposed to normal or hilgher. For me, it allows me to do what I want when I want without having to rely very much on other people’s schedule
