Looking at the dungeon journal, the puzzle mechanic is basically completely unnerfed for LFR and only certain people can actually move the rings.

No way it doesn’t hold up LFR as people who get marked try and DPS a boss who is taking 99% reduced damage.

The question is does not doing the ring even matter in lfr. It was the same thing for Xanesh in Nyalotha. Doing the ball literally didn’t matter because failing it didn’t wipe you anyway.
