We might be saved then. I do not see how they can have any ego left after all that has gone on both game related and legally. Maybe this will be the spark that revives Blizzard?
Not really. But the things they are trying are having the opposite effect, and all they seem to be thinking is, “This may have failed in the past, but if we try longer and harder it will work this time!”
I still think they are blaming players for the failure of Shadowlands. It’s perfectly designed, therefore it must be our fault it wasn’t well accepted.

This might be tin foil hat but let me add more to that.
They claim abuse/underpay/ect, all the changes there was a tweet saying to stop saying that no one asked for that, the devs themselves are asking for that.
Could be there only method of fighting back, vengance.
Cuz alot of these fixes are just, no way they are living in reality.

Their primary purpose is to create a game that will sell to paying customers. That’s what it is to be a for profit enterprise. It’s not about them feeling good about making changes that customers think will degrade the product.

revolutionaries always operate under the assumption that old ways/things must be replaced so new ways/things can be tried. so if anything bad can be 6 step connected to anything old, that is removed. it starts out obvious and then gets more and more specific till they start 6 step removing actual people. this eventually circles back and eats itself.

i feel that is our disconnect, i do not feel that is their intention.

Last time I linked a developers Twitter profile it literally said we make the game for us. But of course blizzard gave me a nice forum vacation due to quote unquote harassment of said Dev. They still got lots of ego never underestimate a Californian ego. If they kill the game they will blame us I have no doubt about it. It’s popular for woke companies like blizzard to blame their customers instead of their own inadequacies

While I might agree, somewhat, with the first, the second doesn’t make sense to me. People keep saying this, but the game engine has been constantly updated throughout the years, as have the graphics, pretty much with every expansion. If you are talking about simply replacing the engine, well, that isn’t going to happen.
Nope. They’d have to take apart and rebuild the entire game from the ground up. That would take a few years and constant work and sadly many of us would end up losing everything on our accounts.
I doubt they would have a separate server to hold our accounts and everything connected to them.
They aren’t sane, though. They are delusional coat-tail riding nobodies that are riding on the success of the work Metzen and Co did about a decade ago. Danuser can’t write worth a damn, the systems guy is a deluded jerk and the community managers are absolutely worthless. The only changes of note in this patch that aren’t related to timewalking are things that were asked for since beta, and censoring jokes that nobody, nobody, NOBODY is offended by. If you are one of the ten people offended by draenei flirts, go away until you develop a sense of humor.
Is it any wonder that the game is in a bad place?

If they weren’t groping eachother over there, I’d apply to blizzard.
I can just do nothing all day and get paid to insult the customers, that sounds great. I mean, my current gig makes thrice as much, but it could be a fun little thing for the resume.
Mage tower should never have been removed in the first place.
Yeah they’re bringing it back but only for two weeks and for some dumb reason we won’t be able to use legos or cov abilities in it.

i also dont think it was as bad as they claim, everyone eggagerates in a situation like that to make themselves not look like the bad guy or for more sympathy. Thou i am sure it happend and all that.
I blame them more tbh for remaining quite, those who watch evil and do nothing are to blame as well.
also looking at the twitter post, alot of what they say how they say it ect speaks volumes of their character.
alot of stuff to be said wich is why i think more the vengance route from them.

It would pretty much impossible to design a game based on the forums. People are all over the place. If most of the develpers are gamers, then making a game they’d like to play makes sense and they do seem to adopt some of the forum sugestions. Just like they’ve incorporated mechanisms that were pouplar in other games (as other games have also copied WoW).
If you ever run across a game everyone likes, please let me know. I’d like to try it out 
I was sympathetic at first, but the more they change and take advantage of the situation to push a political agenda, the less sympathetic I am.
I’m so done with identity politics, it’s just used as a veiled form of the usual anti-fun garbage music/video games/expression has dealt with for years.
