Just logged in and currently it only spawns at my location rather than me being able to choose the location.
This happening for everyone else?
Macro issue maybe? Do you have it set to @cursor and cursor just happens to be over you?
I just logged in and swapped over to Resto and I’m able to place it wherever
Yeah was my macro…didn’t realiase.
When I have someone else targeted I can place it but when I have myself targeted it casts it at my location…not sure why.
I probably shouldn’t even macro these abilities like this…but on my Resto i’m trying to make my keybinds as similar as possible with my Balance spec, all my forms and no matter which affinity I choose which is a challenge.
The reason I have as below is for the rare occasions I’d talent into Balance Affinity, I want to combine my Typhoon into an existing ability instead of requiring a specific keybind for it given it’s rarely used. And so that I can freely change affinities without having to change or set up any keybinds (I have created help/harm macros for all my cat and bear form abilities as well).

You are harming yourself way more by not having accurate efflo placement as opposed to having to figure out another keybind. Just use a modifier and add it to something within the same category like bash or roots.
Just remove the [@player] and it will function as normal.

That’s working as intended, since it drops on your ally’s position, it would only make sense that when targeting yourself, it’d drop on your location
Nah so when I have an ally targeted and click this macro, it still gives me the option to place my Effloresence wherever I want as usual.
But when I have myself targeted, it will instantly cast it at my location and doesn’t give me the option to place it.
