EDIT: Quick Shot doesn't work with some weapon mogs

After doing about an hour of digging with various people in the Trueshot Lodge, we have found out that there is a bug in regards to weapon mogs NOT BEING ABLE TO PROC Quick Shot and fire off the arcane shot when KC resets. Will edit with details as we dig more to find out what procs Quick Shot and what doesn’t.

Staff without mog = procs it.

EDIT4: Too many variables in what can proc it as a mog and what cannot proc it.

In conclusion, it is bugged and does not work with some weapon mogs and works with others.

Thanks for asking about this. I also selected this talent and was trying to figure out if it was working or not.

I have no idea what your talking about, i just tested it on a training dummy, use pheromone bomb fired off 4-5 kill commands with guaranteed resets and arcane shot fired 2 times.

Keep in mind it just automatically fires, you don’t get a proc to use a free one, it just passively fires off for you.

Even with ranger these arcane shots are about less than half the damage of an unbuffed mongoose bite so not stellar damage but it does work.

I checked my details and for an entire dungeon with that and not a single proc of arcane shot went off in a +8 key. Granted it was only a +8 but you’d think I would of got ONE reset to proc it, no?

It’s straight up not working for me after multiple tests of it.

Then i guess submit the bug then?

Cause for me it works on both live and the beta, maybe try unselecting the talent and selecting again, and spamming kc during pheromone bomb?

Kc resets aren’t occurring that often due to not having alpha predator and its only 30% of the time with kc resets which are only guaranteed during pheromone bomb.

TBH i only see the talent being worth while if you are using fury of the eagle and are spamming during pheromone bomb to get fury back up and the extra arcane shots help aleviate the down time. Outside of this its a fairly weak talent.

I edited the original post, re-read it. It works with some weapon mogs and not others.

I’m sorry what? so if you have a polearm equipped it doesn’t work?

Or if you transmog your weapon to a sword it doesn’t work?

So i tested this with a few different types of weapons and with a staff equipped, if you have it mogged to your atrifact weapon it still procs, but any other polearm i guess it doesnt?

I also tested this on other weapons and even while dual wielding and they all seem fine which is weird

I have never had a quick shot proc without using a bow. I also always use mogs. This is good to know.

its definitely bugged for 2 handed swords and I’ve submitted a bug report for it also , hrs spent hitting target dummys spamming only kill command and i cant even get 1 proc
