You can always use the mailbox or NPC if you bind a key to Interact with Target, zoom in all the way so you can click the mailbox/NPC then your keybind.

Learned that like 10 years ago when mailbox hogs were a real problem.

Every time I try to use their turtle dude they run away. Do you get some kind of alert that a peasant is using your tortollan to get some flasks real quick?
