Yes. They’re worried newbies will completely foobar their UIs, which will either cause them to quit playing or cause them to require customer support, neither of which they desire.
This no longer seems to work as of 11.0.2. RIP fixing our UI when making a new character.

Weird. I might have gotten a LUA error (I didn’t check Bug Sack) but it still worked to enable edit mode so I could swap my preferred set up.
Oh! I double checked, and my script is different.
I’m using
/run ShowUIPanel(EditModeManagerFrame)
Try that instead.

Cool, glad you got it working. Yeah I sorry I didn’t notice the different script initially I just figured we were all using the same one.
I just have a macro that I hit with this any time I make a new alt.
