If you’re talking about the Doorway thats because the ENTIRE decor piece is the doorway. You can quite literally make your own doorway out of anything. You can even cover it up with something. like if you wanted a forest room you can just make the doorway a wide generic doorway and then cover it with rocks and foliage.

Yes some people are creative enough to use other furniture to make wallpaper too but that doesn’t fix the inherit design that there are no wall paper options.
The DOORWAY since you want to be so technical is linked to the wall attached to it. So if you want the silver Moon wall you get the silver Moon doorway.

No they are not. If you change the wall to silvermoon the doorway changes to silvermoon. Go try it. The doorway is dependant on the first rooms wall.
And those two things are related because you are pretending like because people can do something creative the initial flaw doesn’t matter..idk why you lack the literacy to connect those two issues.

They aren’t related. Again. Wallpaper does not, and has not, ever existed in this game. This isn’t hello kitty island adventure.
You have actual walls you can change between, and the decor needed to do most changes to said walls if you spend about 2 minutes to do it.

You also tend to reply to me when I’m at work, where I literally have nothing better to do since I’m at a double monitor computer desk for 12 hours a day and, while I’m allowed to be on sites like this since its not blocked, I cant be on youtube or facebook or like minded sites, I’m generally only on these forums when I’m at work and have downtime

Housing does not have wallpaper but World of Warcraft does have buildings with wallpaper. Go to Everlook in Winterspring and every building there has Penguin wallpaper. It’s been there since Vanilla.
On the doorway thing, try changing the wall type on the other side of the doorway. I think I’ve run into that accidently changing the doorway style while putting different style rooms next to each other. It doesn’t always look ‘good’ to me though.

That’s an interesting tidbit I had forgotten about, however, it’s far more likely that it’s just what the default wall is for those buildings as an easter egg, wouldn’t be surprising with how they used to do assets.

Again, Just make the doorway part of the default wall generic and add whatever you want. It’s not a hard concept for most people.

The generic wall and using doors meant for the interior room splitting is a workaround idk how you dnot see that….its a pretty simple concept…. Wall change changes doorway style must use third item to correct said change. = work around
