Edit: If RSS goes into deep dampening the winning healer should get bonus conquest (post 48 lul)

I appreciate a fleshed out idea and discussion.

Yeah the inverse isn’t perfect. Most healers can keep people alive in high dampening with full cooldowns though, but some struggle more than others yeah I get it. That wasn’t my original idea, but just to highlight a point. The details once you go into it aren’t that great. Maybe it wasn’t the best example. BUT the general idea that your job gets harder the longer the game lasts.

I like the idea of increased mana cost. But some healers OOM much quicker, so you kind of end up punishing some more than others? Of course dampening hurts some healers more than others as well.

I honestly thought reaching a level of dampening and saying “well you failed as a dps” is pretty reasonable. I didn’t think people would be so threatened. Or at the very least they would propose a higher % of dampening and say “yeah ur right my skill level should be high enough to land a kill before X %”.

I still do not understand why that is unreasonable. I play both DPS and Healer. Being held accountable on both would be fine to me.
