I dont think its even a bug, I think its just clarifying it doesnt remove beneficial magic effects and stuff, not saying it no longer removes slowing effects.

Chances are, racial choice won’t affect roughly 95% of the people who complain about them, especially in a PVE environment.

As for the OP, it’s dumb if it goes through, but I can’t help but laugh.

They added the word “harmful” to the tooltip? How is this actually a nerf? Why would you want to stoneform out of helpful spells cast on you?

I think they should delete the void elf racials of half off transmog and no knock back on casts, then give it to the blood elves.

I think a lot of people just like to cling to the Method mythic Jaina/Voodoo shuffle thing, and ignore the fact that they

1: Did not need it to kill Jaina, but since they were going for world first, every single advantage helped.

2: EMFH is still absurdly powerful in PVP, just not as game breaking as before.

3: If you’re Alliance you’re worse than the Horde by default, the abilities you or I have won’t change that.

They’d have to clarify that on a LOT more spells if that was what they were doing. Lol. Cause Stoneform is far from the only spell that does something like that.

? That line is in regards to the fact Horde are 1-2% above their Alliance counterpart in sims in most of their specs. There’s a few outliers like shadow priests, but for the vast majority of specs, Horde reign supreme.

Oh, I’m well aware it doesn’t affect most people. But to have this come out like 2 weeks after Ion literally just said he felt the Racials were balanced. ^_^;

Harmful in game refers to things that deal damage. Non-Harmful has always referred to things that do not deal damage, such as Mortal Strike, Movement Impairing, etc.

This is how it has been since Vanilla.

does harmful also include things like slowing poison which doesn’t do any damage? if not it is a nerf

the dwarf racial seemed fine as is, don’t see why they would have nerfed it…

Why do we have a thread full of people guessing when someone could hop on PTR, or ask someone already on PTR, to see if the functionality has changed?

It really seems pointless to sit here speculating.

Which ones? Im starting to go through racial sims and so far all have been <1%.
The one thats above 1% was Spriests which ahs the top two choices being alliance. Point me towards the Spec where racials are completely out of line please

I just checked. It still removes Wound and Crippling Poisons.

Cause it’d require someone with a dwarf and someone with a rogue with something like Crippling Poison to test.

I don’t have the bandwidth left this month to download the PTR. I had to re-download the game to try to fix an issue that ended up being a bug in the game in general.

Also, I meant to post this in the PTR forum, but naturally, I forgot to change the forum. And by the time I could delete the thread, someone posted.

Okay good. Then it’s just a tooltip bug. Thank you.

Also, they really need to make it possible to move your thread in like the first 5 minutes you make it. >_>

Affliction Warlock is the main one I remember.

Don’t use bloodmallet for racial checks though. For some reason it’s been acting out lately. Just today I’ve seen like 5 different loadouts on the Racial Sims, despite it saying it was last updated 1 day 16 hours ago. >_> Like on shadow priest, it says they’re all pretty much within 100 dps of each other, then I’ll refresh the page, then suddenly human is like 500 dps above the others. I dunno what’s going on, but bloodmallet is borked, at least on the racial page. I dunno how to contact them though.
