Not only are arcane crashing but edgemasters too. On Faerlina they would sell for 6000g for 3 months straight and now they’re 3000-3500. What is the explanation for this?
Dont people realize that if we dont get a very specific patch edgemasters are going to be gigantic in TBC?
They are being used right now on most of the top guilds on the new pserver since its basically impossible to find expertise on gear.
Those mages trying to sell edgemaster’s are not very bright and would sit on the same pair for months trying to sell them at a ridicuously inflated price that no sane person was willing to pay.
It’s also phase 5 and there are far better gloves than Edgemaster’s in game now.
All the warriors that need or want them are getting them perhaps? They’re not an item that was going to be BiS through Naxx. Once it’s out and you get the sword of 1k truths you won’t need edgemasters anymore. If you’re sitting on any edgies I’d recommend selling soon.
Finite market with infinite (although rare) supply.
People that want them, have them.
People that want them but aren’t willing to pay for them, have very strong alternatives now.
This is a silly question. This is like asking about why Warden Staff isn’t costly anymore, or why Pristine Hide of the Beast is so much cheaper, or why T1 bracers/belts aren’t valuable anymore.
Cloudkeepers used to be worth even more than Edgies, and now they’re 200g.
I found a pair of edgemasters a little over a month ago and was flipping them for a few weeks. The market was pretty steady between 7-8k but then as soon as AQ came out the price dropped and i got out of the game before i made a bad call and lost money. I wouldnt get back into it this late in the game.
There are still Horde tanks like me waiting for a binding drop to get Thunderfury. And still people rolling alts. But yeah, the market is shrinking.
Im reading these comments so far and people are braindead. Edgemasters are BIS for non human/orc not until naxx but until you get hungering cold from the last boss.
People don’t even have CTS or viskag yet and you guys are saying “just get a KT sword”?

That one is market saturation. There are only so many warriors in need.

As a single upgrade Gauntlets of Annihilation are better in every regard and it’s not for debate. Maybe you should stop raid logging and actually play the damn game for once.
And I have a Deathbringer why tf would I take a CTS or Vis’kag from a human warrior or rogue weak troll.
Boosting would be my best guess. Mara boosting (and boosting in general) has taken off and with mages killing hundreds of mobs killed per pull pretty much around the clock you’re bound to see an increase in supply. Demand is probably lower though. The people alliance side I know who needed them got them a long long time ago, and pretty much anyone rolling a warrior alt these days knows to pick human. Probably about the same horde side, maybe even more so since Orcs have the BIS pvp racial also and there are many many more easily obtained axes with P5.
You’re right its not up for debate. Edgemasters are a significant dps increase over GOA.
PS: Why are you lecturing people on warrior mechanics and “raid logging” when you havent even cleared BWL on your war? Seems… 
My Warrior alt is not going to be buying Edgemasters. He’s an alt. LOL
ACLG existing probably doesn’t help edgies out much.
Good luck getting those off the rogues. We STILL have rogues who need them…
I think that’s why 95% of the warrior alts these days are human/orc…
To be fair this is my alt and has Edgemasters but I also got them before all the mages started trying to price them at 4k+
