For sub main sin os. I am starting to gear my rogue for pvp and I was wondering if I should be going after Edge of Night daggers from Sylvanas or just use the pvp daggers. Idk if the loss of vers is worth the damage proc.

No offense but you ask as though Sylnannas is just going to give you whatever your heart desires.
My advice, get the PvP daggers. They are guaranteed. Work on Sylvannas as time allows. You MIGHT get them, eventually.
I have not tried it in pvp. It is probably worth using as sub but the daggers are pretty rare. The damage is likely reduced in pvp.
I’m asking if it’s worth raiding for the daggers or just get the pvp ones and ignore raiding
Do both, I just got the 233 ones today, I came to ask the same question about how the dagger proc fares in pvp.
If the daggers stay at 233 ilvl then i don’t think they’re worth it. Get to rival and the stats on the pvp daggers outclass edge of night by a bit but idk im going by hunches and rough obvious math.
It has to be a crazy proc to be preferred over like 20 ilvls.

This is like easy peasy if you just sim.
You can’t sim pvp situations.
If you want more damage you sim it to find out.
No one will really have a great answer for you other than PVP dags will 100% drop once you get enough conquest. EoN might drop one day for you. Then it’s really down to personal preference; there is no real way to say “man I was one proc away from winning” or “man with 100 more vers, I had him” - play what you love. If you love bursty/proc, do it. If you don’t care, don’t bother raiding.
Probably not worth the time investment. I’d just go with the pvp daggers if pvp is your main intention
Seeing as most people don’t use Weapon Master (15% proc), and the daggers have a 15% chance to proc damage using 5 combo points, I don’t think they’re pvp viable.
I think the dmg is reduced by 75% in pvp.
