Is this ability bugged or is the wording just wrong?
Blessing of Freedom increases the target’s movement speed by 15.0%. Blessing of Protection and Blessing of Sacrifice reduce the target’s damage taken by 15.0%. These effects linger for 8 sec after the Blessing ends.
One would assume that your movement speed would be increased during the duration of Blessing of Freedom, then LINGER for a further 8 sec. Which to be honest would make this ability signficantly better, because you press cooldowns because you kind of need the effect IMMEDIATELY, not 10 sec later.
It does work during freedom, and for 8 seconds afterward.
If it’s not working for you then seems like some kind of bug for you, but I use this every dungeon between packs for a bit of a speed boost and it’s been working fine.

Yeah it does work during freedom, you can check it yourself. Look at your feet up close before you press it and then after.
However it doesn’t show up as an icon or buff indicator or tooltip change until after freedom is over and you can see the lingering buff. This is what is confusing people, no way to tell unless you look at your feet or can just feel the speed increase
CombatStats weakaura tracks all stats including movement speed in an easy to read little display. Can see the movement speed go up there too.
Highly recommend it in general, realtime tracking of your secondaries for things like phial/trinket/external secondary modifiers and whatnot.

Thanks for the input people, on further testing it does indeed seem to work. I was only taking notice of the buff that appears after the duration of the blessings.
