How do I collect these Echoes of Ny’alotha? I am trying to get the Mag’har Orc race but I started another quest chain so I can not start the Mag’har Orc quest chain until I finish the one I am on and it requires me to buy Vessel of Horrific visions to complete the quest into the darkness. It seems that the quests to collect Echoes of Ny’alotha are now rewarding convelesing visions and I have 30k worth of those but I need another 1k of Echoes of Ny’alotha to purchase the Vessel of Horrific visions.
Not sure how it is now but that should have nothing to do with the race quest. Echoes was a currency from doin visions. Part of the legendary cloak stuff. It was implemented originally to buy essences on alts. To do visions you got another currency from doing the assaults that cane out with the cloak quests. The maghar orc line should have nothing to do with it unless they changed something.

I grabbed the wrong quest so I have to complete this quest chain in order to get the Mag’har orc quest chain. The NPC only grants one quest chain at a time. Can you explain these cloak quests more so I can get the Echoes of Ny’alotha, FYI I already have the Ashjra’Kamas shroud of resolve and 625 Echoes of Ny’alotha
What is the name of the quest that you have, and the quest that are you trying to get? If you can share that info we can potentially get you on the right path. Mag’har unlock and 8.3 questlines shouldn’t be mutually exclusive as far as I am aware.

You can purchase a Vessel of Horrific Visions with the Coalescing Visions from Wrathion (also in the chamber)

TY Adrienne I purchased the Vessel of Horrific Visions from Wrathion and was able to complete the quest.
