Has it been explained why we are experiencing these memories or why they are somehow manifesting? Will todays patch shed some light on the situation as im curious why we are facing them since some of the memories seem kinda small in the grand scheme of things like poisoning the pumpkins
Because “radiant visions” of the future would be too much spoiler for the next 3 expansions’ story. So instead we got memories.

It makes you wonder if they are really Azeroth’s memories, or the players memories.
We’ve already seen Xal’atath pull forward Alleria’s memories. And the player was infused with the blood of Azeroth in bfa, could they somehow be our memories being pulled forward?
Yes. Azeroth could feel that her children wanted to level alts and grind welfare gear, so she manifested the event.

“Awoke something” could mean anything – world changing events happening now vs 3 old raid bosses on rotation.

I know what that refers to in the context of the event. I’m saying “awoke something” could’ve meant more than this event. Fighting old bosses is supposed to prepare us for what’s coming in the next 3 expansions? This event could’ve been so much more than what it is.
