As I was completing my last Timerift event in Thaldraszus a NPC popped up and gave me the quest The Eternal Traveler which when 40 Echos of Mortality are collected I can turn it in for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler xmog set. When I checked with All The Things it said that the item was no longer obtainable. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if you can still obtain these items as the only threads I’m seeing on the discussion are from 1.5-3 years ago back when the item is in the game, but I’d like to collect the set if its possible. Any help would be appreciated!
Odds are good a player shared the quest with you.
It was never intended for the quest to be farmed for; it was intended you’d loot the quest item infrequently while questing.
You will still need to track down another player with the Ensorcelled Everworm mount to summon the NPC to turn it in to.
Thank you for the advice! However I am still a bit confused. Can you still get these item, and if so do I need to do legacy questing for BFA from the xpack the item originated from? Also I do have the Ensorcelled Everwyrm from buying the heroic edition of shadowlands as I cant find anything about a Manaworm.
Yeah, I believe you have the correct name for the wyrm mount. I’m correcting that so that future readers don’t get confused.
I think the quest doohickeys can drop from any kill, but pretty rarely. Hence, the advice to not try to farm it.
Just kill NPC stuff in the course of normal gameplay and loot the quest item as it drops.
