Wrathion and Sabellian clearly aren’t fit leaders. The wise, level headed, and chill tauren Ebyssian showed them what real leadership looks like.
I agree. But I hope they improve as characters. It’s good story building to have good character arcs and growth.
I think it’ll ultimately be Wrathion for reasons unfortunately and Sabellian and Ebyssian will be like a Triumvirate.
It should be Sabellian though. Both Wrathion and him are leaders whereas Ebyssian outright chose to abandon the flight and live in solitude. Will be interesting to see what they do though.
I think it will be Wrathion because he is shown on the splash screen with the other aspects.
That’s quite obviously where this is leading to, yes.
100% agree, cow person has always been nice to me.
I am enjoying Sabel and Wrath’s bickering tbh. But yeah, Ebyssian is the adult here now lol
I am betting the storyline will eventually go toward the two seeing Eb is the best choice as well
Something about making an experimented race the leader of a group of dragons seems… absurd. Especially when the experimented group was made by Wrathion and Sabellians grandfather/father. Not to mention Dragons undergo physical changes when they become an aspect.
Kalecgos got much bigger and his form changed slightly. I’d have no idea how that’d work on a Dracthyr.
They’re black dragons. They should all be vying for control, each leading their own faction of dragonkin, and ultimately battle out until the other 2 submit or perish.
Ebyssian having to constantly corral Sabellian and Wrathion like children is getting very annoying.
People are dying all over, and those two could give less of a crap, mindlessly chasing the black dragonflight’s ‘legacy’.
Terrible characters.
He really should. He’s the only one mature enough to do it.
There was another thread were it was mentioned that it could be a council that gets formed.
If that was to happen I could see Emberthal using her level headness to counter Wrathion’s recklessness and Sabellian’s rigid authority. Ebonhorn as a mediator between the three. Sabellian as the council’s strategic planner because he’s good at making plans. Wrathion playing the devil’s advocate to show the flaws in Sabellian’s plans.
I don’t care which leads as long as we get to make some cool Black Dragonscale armor out of the winner.
Sarkareth believed he was Neltharion’s successor and the Dracthyr revolve around Neltharion as much as Sabellian and Wrathion.
Everyone knows that supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!
Something something people should have power who don’t want it something something cliche
I suppose that becomes semantical when we’re looking at who is saying it. Sabellian and Wrathion are Neltharions descendants, Sabellian being his direct offspring. I suppose ‘creation’ can be loosely used here and Sarkareth is in some way an ‘offspring’ of Neltharion’, but that’s more like a Frankenstein-esque way to look at it.
If that’s the case, pretty much everything made by Neltharion and Nefarian would have equal claim.
We’ve only had two examples of how aspect-hood works in terms of lineage where Kalecgos, not related to Malygos, became the Aspect and Merithra, who is the Green Aspect in all but the actual Ascension.
I’m not saying it can’t happen, but I am saying with two direct descendants of Neltharion, making some random no-name the Aspect would be one of those poor Blizzard-esque things by pretty much ing on established lore and characters.
Blizzard doesn’t do anything interesting with races that are not human or elf.
