i could be miss remembering but i recall that eating and drinking while you had dots on you would interrupt whatever you were consuming every time it ticked
I don’t think this is the case. I remember as a warlock being denied my kill from the grave when my pvp opponent sat down to eat as my dots tried to finish him.
as i recall you could eat but you had to eat another piece of food after each tick
