Just rework it to function like cyclone. Stops all incoming damage and healing and the person just walks around all confused for 10 seconds

imo the easiest fix is to just remove the ability from the game
it’s an over the top extra cc for holy and spriest tbh imo, so just remove it, then give disc chastise and call it a day 
No, it’s the only cc in the game that cc the priest and you can do crazy trick with it, removing it just because blizzard can’t fix their game is dumb especially without compensation.

we’ll have to agree to disagree on it being dumb. I think it’s especially and indisputably dumb to leave it in the game specifically because blizzard can’t fix their game.
I’m not against compensation, but keeping a bugged ability in the game that regularly ruins the experience of others by disconnecting them is an objectively dumb thing to do (imo).
forcing people to suicide off of the map (e.g., from lumber mill, in eots, etc.) is the only thing I can imagine that you’re talking about, otherwise it’s not so different from most other cc at the end of the day.
Give all priests access to door of shadows talent instead/as compensation (much cooler ability and way crazier things you can pull off with it imo), and still, give disc chastise
If you get MC’d by a priest and they start trying to jump against walls with your character, just report them for bug abuse

You can MC stuff like ps/cocoon so they use it on somebody else, also you can MC a target low hp so they die with dots or even MC somebody and put him in rof or trap etc…there is no other cc in the game that can do stuff like this.
Mc is a good spell if you know how to use it.
Ive only seen it twice, but both times we were winning and the priest spammed mc to force a DC.
Was insanely toxic.
