If they put little gag Easter Eggs in vanilla, like overheard flavortext bronze dragonflight conversations referencing future events… Would that annoy you or be considered fan service?

Future lore is jacked up. Keep Classic vanilla and let us have our super powered enemies sealed behind actual power and mystery.

How about an inn keeper asking for bear meat and on turn in: “Geez look at all this meat… you got every kind of a bear but panda”.
Piggybacking on you’re idea, what if every % amount of times the text from an inn keeper changed to You think you want to set your hearthstone here,but do you?
They definitely should add an NPC that says “You guys do have phones, right?” every time you click on him.

I can think of quite a few “glitches” in Chromie’s device that would be cool to see. Like but not limited to.
A Map of Azeroth hung on a wall that includes Northrend and or Pandaria continents. Or maybe a portrait of a Pandaren, Dranei, etc.

Elemental invasions that occasional have mobs specific to future expansions
Some of the named rare mobs from future expansions finding their way through Chromie’s device.
Caverns of time showing future dungeons and NPCs. But the dungeons are inaccessible.

This thread is about a change. Would be fitting to have any said changes in areas that were locked away previously.
You could still get into the CoT, in Vanilla, if you knew what you were doing.

On use it summons an image of Crome and she makes reference to expansion content.
Make it drop off the last boss of naxx.
