I am looking for advice in gearing up to the highest item levels in retail Shadowlands.
Every expansion seems to get more complex in terms of the quantity of currencies used for obtaining the best armor and weapons. I find myself being overwhelmed at the amount of work required to obtain these higher item levels and it doesn’t seem worth it but at the same time I don’t want to quit the game. I hate Torghast, I hate mythics, I hate reputation grinds and grinding for currencies like soul ash and soul cinders. I also dislike any options that require one to be in a guild or in a social circle in order to obtain raid positions.
The only options I truly like in Shadowlands are: Looking for raid and Looking for Battleground. But the gear provided by those is a max of 220ish gear and I’m wanting to advance higher without having to sacrifice the portions of the game that I find most enjoyable.
Can anyone help me figure out the easiest way to obtain gear higher than 230 item level in Shadowlands. Thank you.
