1-MAKE RIDE THE LIGHTNING WHAT IT WAS IN 8.0 AND REMOVE FORKED LIGHTNING FROM THE GAME. FORKED DOES MORE OVERALL DAMAGE WHICH WAS THE COMPLAINT AND ALSO BREAKS EVERY CC (Terrible design+limits our playability greatly).
2-MAKE CONFLICT AND STRIFE ESSENCE GIVE RIDE THE LIGHTNING INSTEAD OF THUNDERCHARGE (45s cooldown, does nothing compared to other specs who get their most overpowered cooldowns from this essence).
CONFLICT AND STRIFE ALSO DOUBLES VERS DEFENSE IN STUNS WHICH IS ENHANCEMENT’S WEAKNESS IN PVP, AND EVERYONE KNOWS ENHANCEMENT IS THE WORST MELEE IN THE GAME IN PVP.
RIDE THE LIGHTNING WOULD ALSO CEMENT ENHANCEMENT AS A 2-3 TARGET CLEAVE BEST MELEE PICK IN RAIDS/M+ AS THEY ARE NOW NEVER ACCEPTED IN MYTHIC CONTENT.
3-BOOM, ENHANCEMENT FIXED. (not a 100% enhance is now fine but, tremendous hotfix potential to at least make us viable in pve/pvp).

Ummm… all of that is PvP stuff.
That doesn’t affect the PvE side at all, and doesn’t “fix” the class as a whole.

They won’t redesign the spec until 9.0 as always with every expansion so this EASY hotfix would simply be HUGE.
And if you think giving enhancement shamans ride the lightning with conflict and strife wouldnt be amazing for pve as well then I guess you haven’t played with ride the lightning.

You have no idea what conflict and strife is clearly.
It’s an essence that enables a pvp talent at all times(including any pve content the game has to offer).
At least understand the words you are criticizing friend.

Only thing that would be a great addition ontop of this, is bringing static cling back.
That and obvi a revert to the healing surge and mana regen nerf…
No reason for it anymore… we got locks, DH, DK, pally, fury warr etc that have just insane self heals…
Like my dk death strikes 100k+ ez… my sham healing surge 30k IF it crits… usually like 12-15k maybe… which for 300k health bar is useless…
So even with the 4 global spam… you miiiiight buy the time to get topped by healer… but prob not… and if you do…then now you can’t counter burst with shamanism cause… yep… OOM.

I used to enable WM just to use that talent back when i played enhancement in 8.0, it was heaps of fun.
I don’t mind your idea however i still believe enhancement needs a survival boost, i just can’t stomach it in solo content, i don’t understand why they nerfed the healing & mana like they did, not when specs like Ret get what they get and better armour, even Feral with its procs feels like it has more sustain.

I think that this + a healing surge nerf revert puts enhance back in the mix for arena ladder while still not being good enough for arena tournament play.
This alone would make enhance viable for mythic raids though and tie them with the competing ele/dh/rogue/war specs for m+.
Doubt we’ll see any of this but it’s THE MOVE.

Yeah, as soon as they merged RtL and FL, I turned WM off. No reason to suffer ganks for a crappy talent.
When Saucer posts, I read. I support these suggestions wholeheartedly.

Make hex instant again for Enh give it like a 25-30 Maelstrom cost to do so. We’re the only melee spec whose cc’s are both casted spells no on demand instant casts, and before any of you try to say capacitor totem is an instant cast let me just say this.
Placing the totem is instant the totem then takes two seconds to CAST the stun as such yes it is a casted CC.
ALSO MAKE RIDE THE LIGHTNING SCALE OFF OUR MASTERY ALREADY IT DOES NATURE DAMAGE FFS WHY DOES IT NOT SCALE WHY YOU MONSTERS WHY!?!?!

Even when you use sundering to cover hex during bloodlust, good players kill cap. We have 0 reliable hard peels and instant hex/voodoo totem/lightning lasso would be VERY welcome tools. Hell even root totem is HUGE.
I’m just saying, if blizz wants to make enhance a non versatile tier 2-3 cleaver at least make us good at our niche, hence ride the lightning revert + added to strife <3

Dude I’m going to try to mythic raid this tier for some large loots and I actually got the 100 parse on 1st boss (as of tuesday night).
Then I lookup who has the 100 parse on the other 2 free bosses. OF COURSE MR. BIG DIVERS FOLLY OVER HERE.

Not bad. If it’s me though, I’d say:
-make Shamanism baseline with CnS.
-take away swelling waves replace with shamrage with the magic dispel
-revert healing surge nerf
-give Electrocute talent with discounted purge cost
-roll spectral healing into spirit wolf
Now enh has baseline healing that doesn’t suck a$$, has a CnS talent that 99.99% their taking anyway, an anti-rouge button with built in maledict protection and mana discount (must ppl don’t remember the mana discount part) , option to talent back it’s role as the premier dispel melee and option to talent into gw kiting. Also opens enh to new pVp talents that aren’t shiz.
Just my opinion.
