Asking for a friend
City of Echoes has a very forgiving timer. Honestly though, in my experience it’s been much more of the group you happen to get rather than the dungeon itself.
For a +10 I wouldn’t say CoT is pug friendly. People die pretty frequently on the first boss, need very good personal defensive use on 3rd, and visual awareness for last.
I would say Mist is probably the easiest to pug followed by Ara-Kara.
The final boss is super annoying though. I ping which pool I’m gonna stand in, but someone still snipes it from me. I’m just fortunate that Tiger’s Dash makes it easy for Feral to very quickly find a new one. Also not a fan of all the forced downtime for melee.
I swear Blizz saw people complaining about how Yazma was so much more difficult than the rest of Atal’Dazar and decided to one up themselves
Mists, DB, and Ara.
Not sure why at least 1 person always dies on the first boss, it’s very easy. I also hate when someone dies when the first boss is at 25%, and someone wastes a brez on them. I like to save as much brez as possible for the last boss because of how pug unfriendly she is
CoT probably took the most tries for me. Most groups couldn’t get past the first boss.
Amusingly, the quoted post was actually saying Ara-kara but they used the second half of the name instead. It should just be called “Ara-kara” to prevent confusion with CoT. This is the reason the Raiderio addon abbreviates it “ARAK” instead of “COE”.
I find Dawnbreaker to be a pretty well-balanced 10, but in a full pug that’s going to be made much more difficult if you get even one person who isn’t comfortable with the dungeon as a baseline.
Last boss of Ara can definitely be tougher with heavy melee. I spend a good part of my time tabbing and swatting every add that runs by to ensure there are more than enough pools to go around, because someone inevitably snipes someone else’s pool.
I just do 11 dawnbreaker on repeat.
I have heard that Mist is the easiest. I have done Echoes and I feel like it was easy but people have to be pretty aware of what’s going. You would think people in a 10 know whats going on but that’s rarely the case.
Mists and Dawnbreaker as long as you have a set up to handle the damage from second boss and know that the mini bosses and adds can be quite nasty.
Echoes has very forgiving timer but last boss is not easy. Actually like Xavius from DHT, the higher you go up in key level the more annoying he becomes.
I have the most success with Mists.
The people who never stand near a pool beforehand but still blink, fel rush etc over to the one you’re right next to make me seethe.
Mists for sure
It’s easy to tunnel vision and zone out at a bad time when the puddle spawns.
Oh ur right haha I just read “City of” and assumed they meant CoT.
Mists and Dawnbreaker.
Dawnbreaker is this season’s Court Of Stars basically. The only way you can fail is by butt pulling extra trash (which is very easy to do especially if the tank is pulling random packs).
Mists, Dawnbreaker, City of Threads, Siege, GB.
Those are pretty straightforward and hard to fail. Siege is a bit tougher with the timer, but none of the fights are particularly hard
