Easiest DPS specs for delves in your opinion?

My ret pally and unholy dks guildies say theyre real easy for them.
I think any melee with some okay defensive or self healing would be okay, make sure you dodge the bad, interrupt the one or yoo bug things and touch the occasional brann potion.

Boomy was pretty horrible when i tried it because of how squishy it is, pretty much had to have treants up and kill everything befpre they despawned or i was kiting/dead a lot of the time, and why i switched to guardian in the first place.

Ret is up there but I personally think Shadow is still the easiest to delve with. Brann on heals, big delve mob dominated, melt face.

Delves may be the only place Shadow is still shining a bit this season atm.

It goes fast.

2 month necro? I see my response from March.

Since then:
I’ve had a relatively fun time on Devoker and WW Monk. Strong burst damage.
I accept i might just like Devoker because it kills stuff way faster than Augvoker.

Yeah, was surprised to see this pop up o_0

For what it’s worth, I’ve been doing delves in 11.7 PTR, and have not have had such an easy on Windwalker. When I do them heal spec or tank spec, they’re easier (especially tank spec, SO MUCH easier than WW for the Overcharged delves).

T11 as brewmaster is just a walk in the park for overcharged delves. On WW I actually had to drop down to +8s to be comfortable, which was weird after traipsing through 11s on live with no problem. Was OK on shadowpriest for higher levels on PTR.

My ww monk is a little wacko in delves. Crazy damage, sometimes crazy sudden deaths. Haven’t used her as much this season.

Since we are rezzing threads, throwing in two cents. My mm hunter is a little trickier than my casters for delves. I switched to Sentinel as I seem to get better aoe damage, and petless for some, like Spiral Weave, and with pet for others, like Waterworks.

WW monk goes through T11 like a hot knife through butter at 630ish but prot warrior is easiest. T11 is basically a walking simulator on a prot warrior with DPS Brann. Other than some of the bosses there’s no mechanics worth your attention. You can just sleep walk through the delve.

Arcane mage is most fun and how I do most of my delves. I think people consider it hard, but I’m not so sure about that.

Now that Marksman no longer has a pet Beast Mastery, with Brann’s healling pots healing your pet too coulped with the fact that pets don’t trigger ground effects like webs and they eat AoE like its nothing all while doing decent damage, has to be the best spec for easy mode. Haven’t played a demo lock or a tanking class yet in delves but I imagine that’s pretty easy too if not a bit more time consuming.

I don’t know what Blizz did to Warlock pets, but my Voidwalker and Felguard are made of paper and I have to babysit them constantly.

Tanking is definitely the easiest role to delve and it’s not even time consuming if your DPS Brann is high enough level.

I only play melee dps so far, but Ret and Havoc are the only 2 dps I can do 11s easily with Brann as dps. The rest have him healing.

All are easy if you just set Brann to heals and go at a steady pace.

For clearing them fast though - Ret / Havoc are the ones for me, especially in any with environmental hazards that can be used against the enemies.

Of course if you want full on ‘press W’ mode, spec tank and set Brann to dps.

Being a guardian druid has put into perspective of how easy delves can be compared to dps specs for me. Arcane mage is good but you need to be aware of surroundings so you can kite harder enemies. With a longer interrupt cd, it’s best not to pull too many dangerous mobs at a time. A steady pace makes it easy if you don’t mind taking it slow. Healing brann works great with arcane.

I was able to do underpin ?? pretty well as arcane because of their mobility.

If you’re doing delves as anything other than Blood DK with Brann set to DPS, you’re only hurting yourself
