Easiest class to solo Twisting Corridors

RNG on anima powers aside, what’s the easiest class to solo Twisting Corridors on? Flip side of the coin, what’s the hardest.

Easy Mode - I’d say Prot Paladin. I’ve played it personally and their anima powers seem pretty awesome.

Hard Mode - I’d guess Mage. Haven’t played one personally.

I have played Paladin and Hunter in torghast and they both feel pretty good. Heard good things about Elemental Shamans as well?

Who’s got good fun powers? Who got the shaft?

Mage is actually one of, if not, the easiest. They get power like Fire Juggler that trivialize pretty much any boss.

Brew Master Monk. Just stack corrosive mists and HP. Then you just heal yourself to victory

Veng DH among the top easiest. Guildie was pulling whole floors and not dying. What other class can do that?

Kyrian Protection Paladin.

Hard to say I’m sure. I have been doing it on my boomkin and it’s a complete joke. That said, RNG matters regardless. I got two buffs that I would assume any caster can get and they were game changing.

  • Caps all hits to 25% of your health.
  • Knocks back enemys within 3 yards of you.

Both of those made it easy. That said, I’m waiting till I get to 215-220 before pushing above the 5th level. Mobs started hitting pretty hard, even with 100k+ health and 100% uptime on barkskin.

Convoke makes it ‘fun’ in a way though. I can pull as much as possible and everything dies in 4-5 seconds. Including floor bosses. =x

I’ve done TC once, on this mage and it was a solo run as arcane. Either the quest didn’t state 18 floors. or I missed it, either way I had not intended to do 18 floors of Torghast that night.

After the first 6, no problems at all but wondering when the other items would drop. Maybe the next floor?

After floor 10, I asked in guild about TC and found out about the slog. So I was invested and kept going.

Floor 16-17 were difficult, planning each pull while waiting for a cool-down. It didn’t help that 13-18 were Coldheart style levels.

The boss at 18 had roughly 2.8M HP, a bastard of a fight against Corrus (I think) with 2 deaths left. Downed him on the last try due to Multiple Runecloth Wrappings powers. Plus a perfect execution.

No way will I ever go back. Regular Torghast is good enough for me

Arms Warriors literally only 2 blue Amina powers (cast condemn on any % and .5 knock back on every condemn) you need and you can cheese any boss effortlessly no matter how hard they hit

elemental shaman - i got up to 40k dps by floor 18 - layer 1 - and i barely got through it - ilvl was 184, and i didn’t get many defensive anima powers.

i got lucky and got the boss on the bear that i could kite all day long on floor 18.

Venthyr Prot Warr = godmode. Land the condem power (after 30 uses it can be used on any target at any health %) and you are invincible on anything single target while outputting absurd damage (personal best to date has been 133k dps on layer 8 boss).

Thats without landing the shieldslam has a 33% chance to cast ww (stacking to 100%), increased rage generation (1xshield slam will fill rage bar, leaving ample rage for condem/condem/shield slam (with auto whirlwind) spam. Spec indom so every 10 rage you spend heals you for 1% hp (everytime you press condem you heal for 4%, while having condem completly remove all inc damage from its target) - then get the thunderclap and whirlwind do ijcreased damage and the power that also has you heal from trhunderclap and whirlwind damage (remember auto whirlwind every time you cast shield slam).

Then some fun powers - having shouts last 500% longer (demo shout for 46 secs anyone - with it on a 45 sec cooldown), damage taken by enemy affected by any shout (stacks to 90% - yes thats 90% extra damage taken for 46 secs), anything that boosts your hp will also increase indom healing because, oh and i had some power that gave me a ***5.6 minute shield wall - 3 min cd - insane power because you can pull twice as much + ww hits more + ww heals you for more +condem keeps you alive on the elite mobs.

I mean i could go on and on about how godmode prot warrior is, but you are just going to have to try it yourself.

Not at all. Flame Juggler was nerfed to have an internal cooldown. Also, Flame Juggler realistically only works against one enemy. So bosses are fine, but clearing the floors is an absolute slog, and very dangerous on the later floors.

Unholy DK needs a bit of luck in the powers department, but if the RNG gods smile upon you early, you can have a pretty great time. A Lichborn that fires multiple Death Coils that have been buffed to deal a lot of damage that also heal you and your pet and then that also applies a buff to you that causes major damage depending on how many times it’s stacked, and is never on cooldown thanks to stacking another power just enough to make it so. It’s quite fun. Add on the odd random HP boosts or Mind Freeze setting off IBF which also causes a Frost Drake to spawn and freeze everything plus deals a ton of damage…it can be a great time! Especially as a Necrolord!!!

Arms is better I’ve had 300k on my lvl 8 run floor 18 boss. Get the epic that increase dmg by 200% per charge leap.

No arms does not have the ability to take damage like prot does. You cant pull an entire floor on an arms warrior but you can on a prot warr.

Forgot about this one - also drops for prot.

Yeah you need the right powers for ele in torg. earthquake on earth ele, 1 min cd on earth ele, random totem on totem drop, dmg % increase per totem, lust every 30 sec, and the LB proc ones are really good.

These 2 are so much fun - makes me think why earth ele earthquake for resto shammy isnt a spec thing.

i had both of those, but enemies kill the earth elements very fast floor 16/17

i did not have the dmg increase per totem, nor the random totem.

i had max lb proc, lust on totem drop, ascendence on lust

i also picked up the 75% mastery power - which was pretty sweet

I’m excited to try boomkin out on this druid.

Both classes I’ve played ‘actively’ have been able to complete up to 5 without issue though I haven’t tried any further.

Guardian: go feral affinity, build up bleed anima, damage after prowl and be night fae (build up convoke). You will do 75% to all of the final bosses damage in a convoke which is now at a 1 min CD. The bleeds afterwards deal so much I didn’t need to do anything but just maintain them.

Havoc DH; build up HP, limit damage taken to a max of your healthy, eye beam immunity and make it 80% to not come off CD and the reduction of it when in meta (using eyebeam in meta reduces it’sCD by 60% or something). Final boss you can eyebeam go BRRRRR. Takes longer than druid but is super effective.

Vengeance DH; immo aura damagex4-7 and refresh on dealing immo aura damage and increased damage of shear during immo. This plus HP is all you need though I have also built critical strike+ that anima that deals arcane damage on critical strikes. Easy street
