Basing my class selection on the least stressful pre-raid BIS gear competition.
I don’t have a lot of time to play so I would like to pick a class that typically sees the least competition when farming pre-raid BIS gear. I won’t be able to raid a lot but I would like to be in a position where its easy to get picked up for a PUG raid in MC, Ony, BWL, ZG. I’ll be living the PUG life during my classic experience so I’m trying to minimize frustrations in having to experience losses in rolls and drop chances in 5mans.
Thoughts? links?
Thanks.
Priest healer? You don’t need full pre-raid bis. Just roll Dwarf so you’re not abused for being a numpty.
Otherwise mage/warlock probably. Rogues need dal’rends and forget warriors. Hunters could be an option too, but you use less of them in raids. Always raid slots for Dwarf priests available.

Probably resto Druid? 2 items (living shoulders and pants) can be purchased from LWers; and is BiS or close to BiS for a long time. You have no competition on leather healing items (which there are quite a few) and the few cloth pieces you DO need are healing only so no competition from mages.
It’s all luck of the drop. Any class can get their prebis easy if they get lucky in dungeons.
And when you DO raid…you’ll have next to no competition on your tier pieces (due to Druid population, and your guild MAYBE having 2 lol) so it’s a win win!
horde warrior, cause it’s only one who wears plate
Tanks/heals. If horde roll a shaman they need one for almost every group. if alliance dwarf priest is a easy pick. Just learn how to fearward the tank lol. Pick a tank if you dont mind it. You can make your own groups or just straight up tell people what item your going to rez in a run. You will be in high demand. Then when it comes to raiding just be offtank 2 or 3 and coast along lol.
yes you can. war will get begged to tank 5 mans. you will be full prebis in like a week after 60. ony hits like a wuss, and guilds will beg you to join if your any good at tanking.
