Easiest caster to learn for arena

Have almost all melee characters that I play, and I’m wanting to learn a caster.

What’s the easiest/most forgiving to learn how to play?

100% Balance Druid, Shadow Priest, BM Hunter

Mages come out of the gate in stealth cause their rogues you know… pop combust and profit no set up no skill GG

I hate mages too but it’s like you’re actively trying to be the dumbest person here

I think that Frost with another caster than just standing in a triangle is probably a little more newbie-friendly.

Night Fae Affliction was another weird thing to queue into recently

The Warlock (and Moonkin) just have so much haste

So Necro works for either now? I played a little bit of fire mage in 9.0 but havent played sense.

I guess mage does better in 3s instead of 2s unless you really know what you’re doing, right?

Idk I don’t see why they can’t play Necro if it’s double caster instead of rogue mage. I only play dk they so I can’t really say

I don’t think it’s the easiest, but elemental shaman is very well rounded and some abilities could be familiar if you have enhancement already.

Definitely not warlock, they are unplayable.

Never played a Sham lol.

I think I’m between Mage and Spriest atm.

Kyrian boomy atm is the EASIEST to learn and play due to everything being super obvious and having things like instant clones / bear form.

Shadowpriest/boomy easiest, something setup based like mage hardest.

Just looking for something to have fun with and learn that side of the game, not trying to sweat it out

Probably shadow priest. Most other casters have some sort of gimmick that isn’t directly tied to the rotation but has to be learned anyway. Shapeshifting/pet control/totems and whatnot.

You need to also consider if the spec is good in 2s (which most use to gear up). Unless you’re one of these people on the forums who have healers on btag ready to queue with your alts?

Edit: Playing double dps with things like spriest or ele is possible I guess, but I think playing rogue mage or hunter/healer would be your best bet if you have interest in 2s
