I plan on raiding this time for fresh.
2019 I played for 2 years but all I did was thank people on my rogue. I don’t have any experience raiding. I don’t want to heal I don’t want a tank and I don’t want to be a warrior.
Maybe I would be willing to be a mage but I like Hunter and warlock more.
Between Hunter and warlock which one would be easier to find a raid spot?
In vanilla you only need 2 hunters at the most in raids.
Play whichever one you like most, hunters tend to get their tier and weapons quick. Warlocks tend to fight with other casters for non tier pieces but bring tasty raid damage boosting curses and can pump if they’re geared. But if you pump too hard as a lock the boss deletes you, where as a hunter just FD whenever something looks in your direction.

For sweatier guides, neither are in particular demand in ERA, most raids will probably run with 2 hunters, and 2-3 warlocks, most casual guilds wont care as much about raid compositionn. A bigger question is do you like pulling and are you good at it? If so a hunter might be the job, otherwise you might find getting a spot in a raid more a challenge. The second question is how do you feel about farming shards, prior to each and every raid, so you can summon, create hearthstones etc.
If Blizz removed the debuff limit on bosses warlocks might be seen more in raids… but that won’t happen sadly cause #nochanges (despite this being a technical limitation that existed back in OG classic that doesnt exist now)
Would be cool tho Blizz
It does blow my mind that people consider raid spots when doing 40 mans that can be 10 manned lol
I do hope we get SoM raid difficulty at least
So, a change to vanilla? Aren’t you #nochanges?
it worked in SoM
it would work here
Warlocks for sure have an easier time getting a spot in my experience, especially if you are alliance.
It did actually. Purists were the only ones who didnt like SoM.

SoM felt like a group of interns threw it together in 20 minutes.
everything feels like the interns threw it together last minute.
Warlock aggro dump = dead warlock.
Hunter has Feign.
Something to consider if you plan to “pump”.
They would need to double the health of the bosses for this to be a good idea. World buffs already ruin the experience of the raids enough, removing the debuff limit without increase boss HP on top of that and we are looking at literal target dummy raids.
Played hunter for 2 years from 2019
But id still concur lock. No one plays lock.
