Hey guy! I’m currently ~1500 in solo shuffle but every game I go 3 for 3 and get no rating. Would it be better to do it in 2s? Kind of new to arena so not sure… thanks!
I mean solo shuffle is easier but 2s would be faster if you had someone to play with.

Meele/healer 2s is probably going to be your easiest 1800 imo

I found shuffle to be a lot easier to get 1800 this season than 2s. Especially the first few weeks of the season.

It might not be easier per se but I’ve improved a lot in arena by playing 2s. It’s not as chaotic and you’ll learn more about opponents’ cds and how to respond and stay alive and how positioning affects matches. Highly recommend playing 2s to improve overall. Focus on getting better and trading appropriately and 1800 will happen on its own 100%.
Also want to throw out there… 2s is just less stressful than getting in a 6 round bout of shuffle as a healer. From my POV anyways, playing 2s is a relaxing way to enjoy the game with a buddy. Hop in discord, record games and watch them together and discuss how you can improve and watch your win rate go up!

If you’re queing RSS do yourself a favor and que in the day/afternoon. There are alot less wintrading lobbies during that time
Que mostly in the morning EST around 4 am.
During the day to night theres neverending tich players that spew these mystery symbols in the chat and have strange names that resemble a certain part of the world
1800 was so hard to hit in RSS! Mainly cause of how often I DC or someone else does. It’s a fat - rating on DC when it’s yourself.
2s is a good bet, just get yourself a consistent healer.

Probably mostly depends on whether your chosen class/spec is better suited for 2s or RSS. But I’d say 1800 is fairly doable in either.

SS is easier if you have no one to carry you and 2s is easier if you do
Ive found it faster to hit 1800 as dps in shuffle. And faster to hit 1800 as a healer in 2s. Mainly cuz of healer shortage, and i can pick better partners as a healer.
