Is this a bug that just never gets fixed? Why does Earthquake not show on the ground sometimes?

Idk, but it happens to me all the time.

I noticed this when doing Timewalking dungeons today. It dealt the damage, but it would sometimes not show any graphics.
I think it’s built into the game. Aren’t some aoe abilities hidden in group content?
No, this is incorrect. It just doesn’t show up sometimes, it does show up the majority of times and is an obvious bug.
