Earthen Waterworks delve bugged

Inside the Earthen Waterworks delve the npc Pagsly got stuck after interacting with a pile of treasure and now won’t move and therefore I cannot continue the delve. I can’t interact with him or locate another treasure and cannot progress. Logging out and back in on the character seemed to fix the problem, but only until the next treasure where he bugs out again. Have to sit through another 20 second logout 4x is very fun.

Logging out and back in didn’t work for me

Make sure you’re waiting the full 20secs for logout. Doing the exit now option doesn’t seem to work.

Will need to do that after each treasure unfortunately.

This issue also happened for me. Leaving delves, resetting, relogging, nothing worked. First time, I was able to get past the first room and he got stuck on second room treasure, 2nd time, stuck on first room treasure

2nd delve i tried tonight and 2nd one that is bugged for me. thanks for a waste of time blizz

I also experienced this bug, but I was able to log out, wait 20s and log back in, and Pagsly started moving again. I hope this helps someone else!

Also bugged. Person leading the party had to relog, but it seems we had to rotate whoever the npc was following. Also broke the bountiful affix, no extra chest. Completely borked.

Really appreciate being ripped off like this, losing a chest and fat chunk of reputation because the only way to complete the damn objective is to do the thing that breaks the damn chest.
Thanks, multi billion dollar corporation.

Seems like you cannot get the Bountiful chest if you need to do the logout fix.

Mine bugged too. I did the log out and log in each time. It worked fine. At the end, even though it was a bountiful delve, there was no extra chest. I did get credit for the Bountiful Delve quest though for the new mount… So just bugged all around.

Occurred for me as well. Relogging at every treasure fixed the issue, but I think the final reward for completing the bountiful delve was negatively impacted.

Pagsly was also getting stuck for me. Relogging did fix the issue, but caused the bountiful delve to no longer be bountiful. On a second run, I was able to work around him getting stuck by intentionally finding a Taskseeker kobold and letting his fire cone kill me. This had the effect of unsticking Pagsly til the next treasue.

I think a possible workaround for this that doesn’t involve re-logging and allows you to keep the bountiful chest is to die each time he gets stuck. This sucks, but it might work until it’s patched.

“Putting the Works in Waterworks” and Pagsly is stuck after I interacted with him near the Invasive Sporecap. It seems you can trigger the next phase where he tells you to watch his back, anywhere in this area, but it’s okay where he should be, which might be causing the bug. At least for me anyway. Will try logging out like everyone else has and see if that works for me.

Logging out, waiting 20 seconds, then logging back in worked for me to unstick Pagsly, but cannot progress. The speech bubble stays and does nothing when you interact with him. I’m afraid I’ll have to reset and try again sigh

I had this same issue, twice.

The first time I went through this delve, the log out trick worked for me. Now that I’m going through it again for a quest it doesn’t. Blizzard needs to fix this.

I thought I was bugged too…turns out I just didn’t read the desciption on the boot button in the middle of the screen that said to stomp kobald corpses…oops. Yey I can complete it now
