As the title suggests… If a computer (Earthen) can learn to kick, punch, use fel, pewpew, use the light, and all that jazz - is it too farfetched to think that the Earthen could re-program the Dracthyr to do more stuff?!
This seems like “Garrisons are WoW’s player housing!” level of petty. I suppose I might be one of the weird and want to be the dragon when I play it. Same with Worgen but it seems a lot of people don’t actually want to be the thing they’re picking but have an option to look different…which druids are right there.
At the very least the racials should always break visage (like no you’re not using wings and tail in visage)
Also I still maintain that unlocking other classes for dracthyr will be a relative waste of effort; I doubt all that many people will roll a dragon who can’t do dragon things and they’re obviously not putting the entirety of the dragon magic abilities down as racials.
I guess some people will be content with soar/glide/buffet but it’s likely to be even fewer than the proportion of pandaren players who roll another class than monk.
I honestly didn’t know it was in the works. Just didn’t make sense to me how we had a year with the Dracthyr, they’re capable of amazing spell casting - yet, can’t pick up a sword and shield.
Yet, left alone for however long, the Earthen get the Horde and Alliance to show up and in like a week they have mastered the Fel, Light, Swords and Shields, etc. This was satirical, a majority of this complaint. I had hoped the Parapa the Rappa video was indicative of that.
Thank you for letting me know that this is in the works, though. I must have missed it in the myriads of things they’ve been throwing our way. <3
