Is HARD!! It’s very easy in the lower tiers, but by gum, it’s hard in tier 8. It dropped pants :grin:, lvl 603.

Yeah, i had troubles with the last boss too, use my VW and i can’t interrupt the dot, use my puppy to stop the dot cast and I’m face tanking lol

I overgear it now and just nuke it without caring, but at lower gear levels it was brutal.

It’s got a lot of casters, and those still hit like a truck. And the debuff on the boss will murder you if you don’t save your kick for it.

At least it’s not underwater… :dracthyr_nod:

Are you at the recommended levels? Gear 630+ and Brann 55+

Yeah, Earthcrawl Mines is my fav delve but it is hard at T8 especially if you used that delve to level and took for granted how easy it was.

Then you do a T8 and realize it’s no longer as easy as you thought. lol, found that out on my frost mage.

Tiffany, my 599 MM Hunter, can do Tier 7 Earthcrawl but it’s a long slog and a chore to kill the General at the end. I tried it once at Tier 8 and actually made it to the end but I couldn’t get the General below half health after several tries.

I’m hoping that when I get over 600 I can take that step.

I was able to do it on my frost mage at ilvl 580 with Brann set as healer, his level was 35 or less at that time.
I died about 3 times but I was able to do a T8 but had to use everything in my toolkit.
That last boss is tough and it was my fault it was so difficult for me because I expected it to be a breeze.

So now I won’t do that again until my mage is ilvl 600 and Brann is now level 45 I think, something like that anyway.
I think once I get there I can do it easier.
It’s just the last boss, too thats kind of difficult.

Genuine question: have you tried using Brann as a healer? He will give you 3 big healing potions that will also place a brief heal over time. You can stagger picking up the potions, to increase the time you are healed.

Also, try using your pet to tank the Delve of you are doing it solo. Picking up the potion also heals your pet.

Like Winin said, try using Brann as a healer. I use the earthmother relic when on my mage and the amorphous one but instead of earthmother relic, you could use final will, where you help Brann target the boss if you’re on your hunter or melee.

Anyway, Congrats on your pants. I love it when the boss drops their pants, haha.

I also use the relic to drop an extra potion after I pick one up. Super helpful, because then I can stagger them out so they don’t all disappear at once.

Also, for others: let Brann do one of the interrupts as that’ll help, too. And use your defensives if one of the DoTs goes off.

You can also let Brann healer tank. It works well.

I use the two same relics, the one that has a chance to increase crit by 50% and the one that’ll either make you smaller and more mobile or bigger and deal more damage. Along with healer Brann. I generally also start at tier 7, since that also drops Champion gear, plus you still get a hero piece in your vault for your troubles.

Once i got the recommend level for 7, I can usually move into the 8 and just… pull slowly. There are more tools for cc than people think because you rarely use them anymore in dungeons. Sap, frost trap, ect, are great ways to pull slower, and only the mobs you want.

Just to also quickly add, interact with the supply chest at the start or save point to use the relics or change Brann’s role.

Sometimes if a fight/stage is particularly challenging for me, i’ll walk over all 4 pots to get the maximum healing effect stacked up on me, then with any luck i can keep periodically walking over the top of the additional proc pots (the trait ones) and they’ll reset the timer on the max stack heal, which allows me to pretty much keep it max stacked the whole time so long as i don’t forget and let it drop off.

If it is the story with the damn useless lamplighter that follows being a clicking nuisance I just pass, if it’s the mine cart that roflmao stomp the bugs, I make sure to murder every single one of em! Feeding the earthens one is ok, and so is the fill the cart with earthens. Frogger cart is just the best!
