Just curious how good is it for last boss in delves?

The improved elemental is fairly good at tanking in lower-tier delves. Above T6, well, it’ll buy you a good chunk of time. It’s definitely worth using but I wouldn’t necessarily count on it for victory, especially above T7 or so.
I haven’t tried the regular untalented elemental so I couldn’t say how it is.

The greater one is super good for Delves, it’s pretty much what allowed me to beat the last bosses in T8 delves early on as Ele, or to get trough the more dangerous pulls too.

It’s good, but it alone won’t give you the win. On my ele in aoe stormbringer with the improved one I can usually get the boss’s HP down 1/2 way or more before the EEs time is up. Some bosses it really doesn’t matter since they are mechanics based so as long as you do them you win. There are others though that will give a beating and it can get down the wire(depending on gear).

Yeah it’s mostly on bosses that melee you where it makes a big difference…
My recomendation is to actually not use it from the start… Open with Storm Ele for higher burst and rotate trough defensives as needed, once those are exhausted then you summon the Earth Ele to tank for you, then just finish the fight with Storm Ele again and some of your defensives should be back too.
You’ll only get one use of Earth Ele anyways so I believe this is the more optimal way to play it.

This is how I do it myself; at least on the bosses where it’s relevant. Good advice.
