I was indeed referring to Hate.
I was especially curious if his group did not get put into combat with the mini boss when they hopped into the portal without him.
Anyone that zones in to a fresh miniboss near their obelisk will get into combat with aggro immediately, and quickly die if they are not the tank.
As I said the trick seems to be to have the tank pull nasty packs away from an obelisk and die, while someone that can drop combat clicks the obelisk and zones into the other phase. They then drop combat inside that phase, after getting away from the boss spawn location. Once the obelisk is clicked once that boss is now shared with the dark phases of the other portals of already killed minibosses.
