Early impression of War Within: fury changes

These are my impressions of whats potentially coming in “The War Within”.

I like that they are aware that it wasn’t fun choosing between raging blow and bloodthirst builds in dragonflight. I also like the that are merging/cutting talents to provide better talent freedom and it is to early to say how much the “hero talents” will impact gameplay and numbers.

Unfortunately, they already triggered some alarm bells with the proposed changes to rage generation. Majority of the warrior player base is not asking for slower gameplay. So if you are going to nerf rage generation, then you need to buff the damage output of the abilities to compensate and I didn’t see anything in the release notes about making sure that warriors remain competitive in PVE/PVP.

While I think merging some talents into single-minded fury is a great idea, SMF still doesn’t compare to Titan’s Grip dps output. My recommendations are A) buff SMF so its on par with TG B) Let us transmog 2handed weapons into 1handed weapons.

Again, these are just my early thoughts/opinion on what was announced. I am excited to see how these changes work with the hero talents.

I’m not very satisfied.

It’s not bad like arms, but it’s neutral at best.

BT vs RB still hasn’t been fixed either as i talked about in another post.

This idea about “high apm” is alco complete trash. Sorry boomers, but if you’re able to write on a keyboard you are doing more key strokes than playing any class in wow. I’m sorry that you’re perpetually behind the times because how they did things when you were young is how it should always be.

The reason why you have carpal tunnel is not because “wow too fast and complex” It’s because of posture or other issues. We’re not playing starcraft with like 250 apm.

As for 'rage economy" generally my eyes roll all the way to the back of my head when i hear stuff like that.

Id rather have an abundance of resources than shortage.

Try to fix overcapping, but not if it means that you have to significantly decrease resource generation.
