Early Access Release Exact Time?

Do we know the exact time that Early access will go live? I need to know to plan my vacation!

I predict a last minute delay by at least a few hours.

Inevitably, but we have a release time for worldwide release, but I cannot find a time for early access.

I suspect in a week or two they give specific times. I’m just playing the early release during my regular game times after work though. To each their own so don’t take it as me telling others how to use their PTO but risk is higher during early release times for “server reset in 15 minutes “ logging in issues etc then say a month after launch.

I have time scheduled (wasn’t for wow specifically just because of the trolls on here - it was planned months ago) - end of September but any wow I do play then I figure a month in on release it should be a good stable experience at least.

Early Access is the 22nd, but I think it’s been left open because if things go wrong they have until Aug 23 3:00pm pdt to make good on their 3 days of early access.

Beta Access and Early Access dates subject to change. Early Access duration is 3 days. Limited time only. Play time subject to possible outages and time zone differences.

That’s the fine print. I think if you don’t care about potentially wasting PTO then take off the 22nd, but the 23rd should definitely be playable unless they have some serious issues.

Normal release is 3pm PDT (6pm EST for me) so I assume it’ll be 3pm pdt on Thursday August 22.

I might take the following Friday off :dracthyr_shrug:

But Thursday the game won’t be live until after work.

Either…

  1. They honestly don’t know yet at what exact time it will be playable, which is conceivable;

or…

  1. They’re trying to keep it a secret to build up hype.

Some of both.

I suspect you are right. I probably wouldn’t hope to play before 3pm PST on the 22nd.

I mean there’s a good chance they delay the release, given they have done so in the past recently.

There’s a countdown clock on the Wowhead homepage in days, hours, and minutes, and it looks like it is 3:00pm PDT on August 22nd.

That is assuming Wowhead knows for sure and did the math on the clock correctly, and I did my math correctly, all assumptions we should all take with very large grains of salt.

Ppl seemed confused by the date. It’s the 22nd in NA and 23rd in EU.
