E3 2022 Officially Cancelled for In-Person & Online Event

Hey everyone,

I’m not sure if everyone has heard the news or not. But apparently the E3 Expo was announced recently as officially cancelled for 2022. They have stated there will be no In-Person or Online Event this year now.

E3 is supposed to return for 2023 however as an In-Person Event though however!

Feel free to share your thoughts here regarding this! I personally enjoy watching E3 for the major gaming announcements. Especially by Nintendo and Sony as I own a Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 console!

I created this thread as I didn’t see this posted anywhere on the Forums and thought I should share it with my fellow gamers!

Cheers!

I haven’t heard, though honestly I haven’t been keeping up in the last couple of years either.

Hearing this isn’t too much of a surprise, because I feel E3 is slowly downsizing by size and activity. More developers nowadays either showcase their stuff thru early events/press-conferences prior to E3, have their own conventions some other time of the year, or don’t have anything at all/cancel their booth.

Plus with games running as a service and getting stretched longer, I don’t see new/original things getting churned out as often compared to the 90s.

I thought that the event was canceled Months ago!
