When do we get dynamic ground mounts with the charges and abilities like dragon riding?
Ability ideas:
Charge forward, short speed duration
Spring in your step, jump 3x normal height
Hold on tight, prevent dismount for duration
I think the mount equipment could be turned into this or compliment it
I drive my voidtalon in stick shift
They should definitely do something with ground mounts.
As it currently stands, unless they have a vendor attached, ground mounts are useless.
Flying and Dragonflying mounts do everything ground mounts do and much more.
True fact, 90% of ground mounts sell with an automatic transmission now.

I think you have some interesting suggestions but even if they added something like that my guess is that the overwhelming majority of people will still choose to fly.
Unfortunately the only way they can make ground mounts “useful” is to restrict the use of flying mounts for a while each expansion. And, well, we all know how well that goes over with everyone.
No thanks, although ground mounts do need a little boost in speed.
Would be neat. I think Blizzard is taking a little bit more time with dynamic flight (adding it to more mounts in The War Within) before expanding the system to ground or even aquatic mounts. I like the system, and the ability to swap between the options in The War Within is good for people who prefer traditional flight over dynamic.
Soon I hope! Wowhead already discovered two vehicles that will have Dynamic Ground Mount [DNT] abilities.
